After School Programs

The City of Mountain View Recreation Division provides after school programs at four elementary schools and two middle schools.

The City provides after school programming for youth to experience social interaction, create a safe place for youth while parents are at work, positive adult role model interaction, a sense of belonging, increase self esteem, positive peer influence and a community who values youth!

Beyond the Bell After School Program @ Crittenden, Castro, Landels, Monta Loma and Theuerkauf Schools
Beyond the Bell After School Program is offered at Crittenden Middle School, Castro Elementary, Landels Elementary, Monta Loma Elementary and Theuerkauf Elementary.  The program consists of the homework, All Stars recreation component and enrichment activities.   This program isa free after school program offered in cooperation with the Mountain View-Whisman School District.

Beyond the Bell strives to create a safe and positive environment for youth by providing enriching games and activities, and by assisting the youth with homework on a daily basis.

Due to funding sources students must be referred by teachers and principals in order to attend this program. If you have specific questions regarding this program or a specific site, please call Abby Longcor at 650-526-3500 ext. 1063.
