(Mountain View, Calif.) — As part of Affordable Housing Week (May 12-19), the City of Mountain View will be hosting a lunchtime event to address Bay Area concerns over the lack of mid-level housing options for middle income workers, families and households. The event will feature a moderated discussion with three subject matter experts on the “missing middle” who are trying to address this issue: Dan Parolek of Opticos Design, Rick Jacobus of Street Level Advisors, and Patrick Kennedy of Panoramic Interests. In addition to the discussion, the event will include a light lunch; opportunities for questions and answers from participants and media; and a tour of the MicroPAD modular housing concept.

The MicroPAD demonstration will also be available May 13 and 15-18 from noon until 6:00 p.m. on the corner of Mercy and Castro Streets in Mountain View. No RSVP is necessary to just tour the MicroPAD.
