Multicultural Festival to Celebrate Cultural Diversity of Mountain View

(Mountain View, Calif.)— On June 10, the City of Mountain View Human Relations Commission (HRC) will host the first Multicultural Festival. This free community event was conceived by the HRC to provide to celebrate the cultural diversity of the Mountain View community and bring together residents to share, learn and understand people of all cultures, talents and beliefs in an inviting and welcoming environment.

The event will be held from 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at the City Hall Plaza (500 Castro St., Mountain View), and will feature community resource tables, food trucks and a variety of dance, vocal and musical performances throughout the day by Bachata Sentimiento, Noorani Dance, Kathkars School of Dance, Raices de Mexico, Salsa Casino, Google Dance, Travel Backyard, Dances of the World, Freedom Strummers, World Harmony Chorus at the Community School of Music & Arts, and the German International School of Silicon Valley's Elementary School String Class.
