(Mountain View, Calif.) – The City of Mountain View is now accepting applications to be a part of a voluntary, ad hoc, stakeholder working group on the issue of feral cats and wildlife. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15 and applicants must be residents of Mountain View.

During the deliberation of updates to the Mountain View Animal Control Ordinance this past April, the City Council requested the formation of the stakeholder working group to gather input and represent diverse viewpoints. This voluntary ad hoc group will be asked to share ideas on how we can better address feral cat populations and protect wildlife in North Bayshore and creek beds.

To get more information about the stakeholder working group and download an application to apply, visit http://mountainview.gov/catsandwildlife or stop by the City Clerk’s Office on the third floor of City Hall at 500 Castro St.
