Levi’s Stadium is encouraging the use of public transit for all game days and special events. The increased dependence on public transportation could impact downtown Mountain View and the surrounding residential neighborhoods due to anticipated use of Mountain View’s Transit Center. The City has implemented a stadium event parking pilot program to provide available parking for residents, businesses and employees, visitors, and stadium patrons in downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods.
The Levi's Stadium Parking Pilot Program will be in place on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. The three hour parking time restriction will apply within the program boundaries. In addition, streets and parking lots immediately adjacent to the Transit Center will be closed beginning at 6 am on February 7 (see the map to your left for more information). No traffic will be allowed along those streets. For more information about the street closures and operations at the Transit Center visit the Mountain View Police Department Blog. For information on riding Caltrain and VTA to and from Levi's Stadium, visit the agencies websites at www.caltrain.com and www.vta.org.
The Mountain View Police Department will be increasing staffing to accommodate the influx of transit riders and visitors to the downtown area that day. To stay up-to-date on street closures and what is going on in downtown Mountain View on February 7, 2016, follow the Mountain View Police Department's Twitter page: @MountainViewPD.
The current 2015-16 stadium event day parking permits will be valid on that day. Upon request, one-day guest permits are available for residents within the program boundaries with a limit of two permits per household. To request the permits, please fill out the Levi's Stadium February 7, 2016 Guest Permit Application and submit it to the Community Development Department (500 Castro Street - First Floor). Proof of residency will be required and for guest permit guidelines, please review the application.
