The City of Mountain View's Human Relations Commission will host a Bystander Intervention Training on Thursday, June 15 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Mountain View Community Center, 201 Rengstorff Ave. Attendees will learn principles of nonviolence and practice de-escalation techniques to support community members targeted by hate speech. The event will be facilitated by the Council on American Islamic Relations.
