Fix it free! Repair Café Mountain View is a free alternative to landfilling things in need of repair. At Repair Café events, volunteers assess your damaged items to determine how to repair them. The volunteers will guide you to tackle the repair yourself or fix it while you watch and learn. Typical items include small appliances, electronics, clothing (repairs only, no alterations), luggage, kitchen items, lamps, toys and more. Bring your items in need of repair along with any associated spare/replacement parts, owner’s manuals, instructions, or boxes with information. Be sure that items requiring power are charged or have good batteries. Repair Café will prioritize one item per customer, but may be able to repair additional items depending on volunteer availability.
