The City of Mountain View Appointments Review Committee (CARC) was established to assist in the appointment of candidates for Advisory Bodies, like the Human Relations Commission and the Visual Arts Committee. The Committee consists of three City Council members.
The general functions of the Appointments Review Committee include:
- Systematic candidate screens for Boards, Commissions and Committees
- Appointment recommendations for Advisory Bodies to the entire Council
Meetings
The Appointments Review Committee meets on an as needed basis; meeting location, time and date are to be determined.
