Home MenuWelcome From the Mayor of Mountain View
As Mayor of the City of Mountain View for 2024, let me welcome you to our wonderful community. Whether you are a long-time resident or just moved here, work here, own a business or are considering opening one, or are visiting our fine city to enjoy the delightful amenities we have to offer, it is our pleasure to assist you in any way possible and make you feel at home.
Mountain View is a multicultural community made up of people from all walks of life from all over the world. We celebrate the diversity of our city and strive to preserve it while providing a great place to live, work and play. We have a vibrant downtown where you can dine and shop, an incredible parks and trail system, amazing community events and so much more.
Mountain View’s population is modest—about 83,000—but we have a prominent role on the world stage. Mountain View is a center of innovation for Silicon Valley, so people from all over the world are interested in what happens here. We are also a community that cares deeply about our environment, is focused on building more housing and creating a Community for All.
