The City of Mountain View is looking to develop a Homelessness Response Strategy and Expenditure Plan to address and respond to the needs of the unhoused community.

What's Next
Background
In December 2020, the Council endorsed the Santa Clara County Community Plan to End Homelessness.
The City Manager’s Office, Housing Department, and Human Services Division are deeply engaged in local and regional work to respond to homelessness.
- Coordination with local service providers and regional partners to implement effective strategies
- Pipeline of affordable housing units, including supportive housing (PSH, RRH, EIH)
Recognizing that a coordinated strategy will increase impact, this work was added to the Council’s Strategic Priority Workplan.
