In December 2022, Prometheus Real Estate Group submitted an application for a Planned Community Permit, a Development Review Permit, a Provisional Use Permit, a Heritage Tree Removal Permit, and a Tentative Map to remove two existing office buildings and a surface parking lot in order to construct:
- Two, market rate apartment buildings (7-story and 8-story), providing a total of 686 market rate apartment units;
- one, 8-story, apartment building with 150 affordable units,
- a 6-story, 275,200 square foot office building,
- a 8.5-level above-grade, stand alone parking garage,
- a 0.52-acre privately owned, publicly accessible (POPA) open space,
- removal of 40 Heritage Trees, and
- a Vesting tentative Map to subdivide the existing parcel into five new parcels, with one lot further subdivided into six (6) units for condominium purposes (three garage units, two residential units, and one commercial unit) .
The 10.58-acre project site is located at the southwest corner of Ferguson Drive and W. Middlefield Road in the P-41 (East Whisman) Precise Plan.
Public Meeting
This project will be heard at the following public meeting:

Environmental Planning Commission Public Hearing, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers, Second Floor, Mountain View Civic Center, 500 Castro Street.
Meeting agenda, staff report and materials will be posted at mountainview.legistar.com the Friday prior to the public hearing date and will include information on meeting location, format, and how to participate.
