Non-Profit and Fundraising Use of the Community Center, Senior Center and Historic Adobe Building

Please note, non-profit rental rates apply to non-profit organizations located within Mountain View city limits or those whose service area includes Mountain View. Proof of service area may be requested by Reservations Office. 

Reoccurring Meetings for Non-Profits

For reoccurring rentals, the Reservations Office takes Non-Profit reservations on a lottery system and limited to one meeting per week as space is available. The lottery occurs on a quarterly basis on the following schedule:

  • 1st business day in November for January through March reservations
  • 1st business day in February for April through June reservations
  • 1st business day in May for July through September reservations
  • 1st business day in August for October through December reservations

Special Events for Non-Profits

For Special Events, the Reservations Office takes Non-Profit reservation up to one (1) year in advance. Special events must be free of charge for those attending.

Non-Profits must provide proof of 501 (c) status to qualify for Non-Profit rates.

Special Events – All rentals are subject to require a security deposit, janitorial fee, and a certificate of insurance.

Mountain View Non-Profits are entitled to one complimentary rental per year, with hourly rental and janitorial fees waived. Security deposit and insurance may still apply. 

Fundraising Events

Mountain View based Non-Profit organizations are eligible to host one (1) fundraiser event in a calendar year. In order to obtain a facility reservation for a fundraiser, the organization must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. The local Non-Profit organization’s service area is within Mountain View City limits or includes more than fifty percent (50%) of Mountain View residents as indicated in the organization’s articles of incorporation and bylaws;
  2. The funds raised by the local Non-Profit organization are used in Mountain View;
  3. The board of the local Non-Profit organization is comprised of at least one Mountain View resident;
  4. The local Non-Profit organization has obtained a Mountain View business license or exemption letter; and
  5. The proposed use by the local Non-Profit organization is compatible with facility purposes and operation.

Fundraising – All rentals are subject to require a security deposit, janitorial fee, and a certificate of insurance.
