Pickleball Court Study, Design & Construction Project
The City of Mountain View has started the first phase of the Pickleball Study, Design & Construction Project, to evaluate potential locations to develop additional dedicated pickleball courts in Mountain View. The City sought public input on locations and amenities for new courts via a survey and a community meeting in Spring 2024.
Staff presented the study findings, including locations and number of courts recommended to the Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC) for their review and comment on June 12, 2024. The Commission requested for staff to study additional layout options and other alternatives to return at a later date for more discussion. Staff has prepared added options and will be returning on October 23, 2024 to PRC to present this item. The feedback received will provide staff with a recommendation for location and number of new pickleball courts to recommend to City Council.
