Hold on to your broomsticks! On Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Rengstorff Park in Mountain View will transform into a lively, Halloween-themed celebration as the beloved Monster Bash returns! This family-friendly fall festival invites ghosts, goblins, and ghouls of all ages to join the fun. Don your best costumes and enjoy a jam-packed day of exciting activities, including a Treat Trail, spooky games, mesmerizing live performances, a towering stilt walker, the enchanting Lil Ghouls Corral, and a bounce-worthy inflatable zone. Brave souls can enter the Creepy Crawly Ooey Gooey Zone, while thrill-seekers pedal into the fun with the Bike Circus.
Start your day with a Zombie Bike Ride from the Mountain View Public Library at 9:15 a.m., arriving just in time for the festivities. This event is free and open to the public, with limited parking available at the Mountain View Community Center and Senior Center. We highly encourage walking, biking, or using public transit to the event.

Creepy, Crawly, Ooey Gooey
Monster Bash will be highlighting the wild and sometimes spooky elements of nature. In the Creepy, Crawly, Ooey Gooey area, you will find exhibits from SaveNature.org, the Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center, For Goodness Snakes, and more. In addition to the displays, animal handlers will be on-site with certified education animals, including a Great Horned Owl and Turkey Vulture.
Lil Ghouls Corral
Bring your little ghosts and goblins for some spooktacular fun with low-key, family-friendly activities. Join the Mountain View Library for magical Halloween crafts, pose for adorable free family portraits with Deborah Lord Photography, and explore nature-themed activities and sweet treats with the Biodiversity and Urban Forest Plan. It’s the perfect way for our tiniest trick-or-treaters to enjoy the magic of Halloween!
In 2024, the Lil Ghouls Corral will feature magic shows from Magician Chris A. Mazing. Join us at 10:45 a.m., 11:10 a.m., 11:35 a.m., 12:05 p.m., or 12:30 p.m. for a fantastical show.
Bike Circus
Back by popular demand, Monster Bash will feature a bike circus! Bring your bicycles to the event for fun bike safety training for children. Get your helmet and ride our scary fun bicycle course! No bike, no problem! Attendees can also practice their safe walking skills at circus.

Walking & Biking Routes
Limited parking is available at the Mountain View Community Center and Senior Center. Walking or biking to the event is encouraged. View our route map to find accessible routes from different parts of Mountain View to Monster Bash.
Zombie Ride
Join the Transportation Division on a Family Bike Ride to Monster Bash. The ride leaves from the MV Public Library at 9:15 a.m. Route information coming soon.
