The City's Recycling and Zero Waste section provides collection programs to reduce resident and business waste as well as educational resources to help achieve Mountain View’s sustainability goals. By reducing, reusing, repairing, recycling, and composting our community is taking steps to reach zero waste. 

We are proud of our community for keeping nearly 80% of our waste out of landfill as we work together towards the goal to divert 90% of waste from the landfill by 2030.
