In 2018, the City Council opted to align the potential new revenues from the proposed business license ballot measure (Measure P) with transportation and mobility improvements.  With the passage of Measure P, Council directed 80% of the new revenues toward transportation and innovative transit solutions to improve traffic congestion in the City, including, but not limited to pedestrian and bicycle improvements, grade separation projects to separate bicycle-pedestrian-vehicle- routes across the railroad tracks, and the community shuttle.

Since passage of Measure P in 2018, approximately $18 million of new revenue has been generated and invested in transportation and mobility improvements, in addition approximately $12.2 million in additional funding has been used towards operating the community shuttle.  Provided below is a listing of these important projects and Measure P’s support.
