Arbor Day Tree Giveaway Program
Spruce up your yard with a new tree. Eligible residents can receive a free pre-approved tree delivered by City staff to plant anywhere in their yard. Street Tree Program

Do you have space in front of or along the side of your property for a street tree? Street trees provide numerous benefits including shade, pollution removal, reduced energy costs and higher property values. In Mountain View, street trees are planted and maintained by City staff. Arbor Day Tree Giveaway Program

Every year, in celebration of Arbor Day, the City of Mountain provides eligible residents the ability to receive free pre-approved trees for planting anywhere in their yard. Registration is open from April until August. Once registration closes, the city will order your fifteen (15) gallon tree from a local nursery and arrange for delivery directly to your home in late September or early October.
