Mountain View, Calif. — The Mountain View Police Department seeks additional victims related to a recent indecent exposure incident at the public library.
On July 28, 2024, around 12:10 p.m., MVPD officers were dispatched to the Mountain View Public Library located at 585 Franklin St. on a report of an indecent exposure incident. Officers arrived and determined an adult male suspect had asked a female victim a question while she walked by. When the female victim looked towards the suspect, she realized he was exposing himself and masturbating. The male suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
Through investigation, Mountain View Police Department detectives identified the suspect as Max Davidson. On July 30, 2024, at around 3:40 p.m., a MVPD officer was conducting patrol checks and located Davidson inside the Mountain View Public Library. Davidson was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for failing to register as a sex registrant and indecent exposure with prior convictions (California Penal Code 290.011(a) and 314.1 respectively).
Davidson is a 38-year-old Hispanic male out of Mountain View.
The victim believed there were others in the area that may have also seen the suspect engaged in this activity. Mountain View Police Department detectives are seeking assistance in identifying any additional victims.
